Clothing tips

choose Colours and textures that harmonise with the environment in which we are shooting.

Your clothing should work harmoniously with the surroundings. If we’re at the beach, a relaxed, laid-back vibe is perfect: shorts, flowing dresses, and bare feet. Wear cosy layers, chunky jumpers, warm socks, and boots if the weather is chilly.

I gravitate towards soft, muted tones and earthy hues like browns, tans, mustard, green, and cream when choosing colours. However, I recommend steering clear of some colours, such as bright ones, especially reds and bright pinks, as these have a tendency to cast unwelcome shadows upon the skin.

What if it rains?

EMBRACING the Cornish weather in all its moods

Although I adore capturing the magic of our coastline in all its moods, I always prioritise your comfort and enjoyment above all else. I understand the importance of avoiding unpleasant conditions. That’s why I take special care when scheduling outdoor sessions, ensuring they’re not overly booked and allowing for flexibility to adjust dates if needed. When you book your session, we’ll always discuss a booking window. This approach guarantees that your session is memorable and enjoyable, regardless of the weather whims of Cornwall.

The best time to book

AS SOON AS YOU ARE READY

Please don’t hesitate to reach out whenever you feel ready! My schedule tends to get quite busy, especially during the spring and summer seasons, often booking up two months in advance. If you’re considering a family holiday in Cornwall, getting in touch as soon as you’ve finalised your accommodation arrangements is a great idea. This way, we can ensure that we have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate your session preferences and create unforgettable memories together.
